EARLY PRIMARY VOTING!

(Presidential Primary Only)

VOTE EARLY IN PERSON

You can vote early with an absentee ballot at your local elections office. Some cities and towns also offer in-person absentee voting. If you are not registered, you can do so in person if you show proof of residence.

Absentee voting will begin on January 19 (Fri). Unless noted otherwise:

  • Locations will be open during the stated days/times starting January 19 (Fri).
  • Locations will be closed on February 19 (Mon) for Presidents Day.
  • Locations will also be open 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on March 2 (Sat).
  • Locations will also be open until 5:00 p.m. on March 4 (Mon).

VOTE EARLY BY MAIL

For your ballot to count, remember this important information:

  1. Read the instructions that come with your ballot carefully.
  2. You will need a witness when you vote and complete your ballot. The witness can be either a registered Minnesota voter or a notary.
  3. Return the ballot and forms right away after you finish. Your ballot will not count if it is received after Election Day.
